¿How does AGP work with Universities?

AGP has opened a specific  program for last semester University students in professional and technical studies who are willing to become practionters at AGP. Semillero, the professional practice program, is the way how AGP gets in touch with Universities in order to recruiut the best human talent and welcome it at AGP in early labour years.

Semillero - ¿What is it?

It is a program aimed at identifying and devolping skills in young students with potential, attracting them from their Universities so they can be chosen as suitable staff members according AGP needs. The program allows AGP meet and feed the future of the organization.

Semillero - ¿How is it made?

This Human talent recruiting program consists of the following  subprograms:

Practitioners:it is aimed at those students who have not gotten their diploma yet and who are willing to do their internship in companies with  the purpose to approach the practical view of the theory they are learning. It has a duration of 4-6 months, aproximately.

Job trade shows and University approach: It consists of visiting The Universities to do some AGP marketing like a better job option among other companies.

 

Semillero – Requirements

    The student who is eager to join AGP intership program, must fulfill the following requirements:

  • He must be doing the last or next to last University semester as the requirement from the Institution  to do so, in any enterprise from the private sector , and with any specific subject related to the kind of industry and the educational program in his (her) Professional career.

  • This internship must not exceed 6 months.

  • He(she) must work full-time.

  • He (she) must show good grades and study background.

Semillero – Hiring process

Internship Program Agreement: the final candidates who will be hired by AGP, must sign an Intership Agreement Contract with the company.

Compensation:

Educational Subsidy: AGP practitioners get a specific monthly aid at the begining of his(her) intership.

Social Security-ARP: AGP will take charge of costs related to industrial safety in case of emergency as well as social security fees.

 
Induction:

AGP Induction: Human Resources is in charge of setting up the general induction for every area at AGP.

Human Capital: on a second step, the candidates are sent to a meeting with a representative to Human Capital in order to sign up for an Intership agreement contract.

Boss Induction: finally, they will have a general induction given by their respective boss.
