For more than 45 years, American Glass Products has invested in its Research and Development capabilities resulting in the production of the state-of-the-art in ballistic resistant glass.

During this period, we have delivered thousands of units of armored glass products with features designed to provide the greatest protection and durability.  In recent years, AGP has become increasingly focused  on the development and improvement of products for military applications, with distinct consideration for ground vehicles utilized by US and NATO forces.

For several years, AGP has been producing  flat bullet resistant glass products utilized by various military forces. Our BRG for military applications ranges from level CEN BR5 to level STANAG 4 protection. Besides accomplishing international ballistic standards (NIJ-CEN-VPAM-STANAG) we are also proud of having a special series of outstanding compositions able to withstand high levels of ballistic attacks at extreme temperatures including Multi-hit threats.

DURABILITY

AGP EDGE PLUS® is a laminated  material that seals the edge of the bullet resistant glass, preventing penetration of moisture and chemical agents into the laminate and therefore enhancing its durability.

LIGHT WEIGHT

Our Light Weight Transparent Armor contains special materials and processes that reduce the weight and thickness of the glass, while maintaining its ballistic performance.

FRAMES, GUNPORTS AND COMPONENTS

The AGP Technology offers the option of increase the ballistic performance of the glass by adapting steel frames:

• Easier and faster to install. Suitable to be installed by soldiers in the field.
• Parts are modular, suitable to be assembled without welding or permanently adhering.
• The installation process does not require any modification to the vehicle (drilling, cutting, etc.)
• Kit parts are interchangeable with several models.
• The assemblies withstand frequent manipulation during the installation-removal-storage processes.
