With more than 60 years of experience and global presence, AGP is a benchmark in the design, development, and enhancement of transparent ballistic solutions for security and defense applications. The facility has over 20,000 m² of production area, with a layout designed to optimize processes, ensure high-volume manufacturing, and offer product flexibility.
Located in São José dos Pinhais, in the state of Paraná, the AGP plant holds a global position of excellence, being exclusively dedicated to the production of civilian armored glass. With a production capacity of up to 7,200 sets per year, it is recognized for developing the most advanced glass ever produced globally, such as the IB33 and the newly launched IB33 Pro — solutions that combine impeccable optical transparency, unprecedented lightness, and the best sensory experience on the market.
Certified under ISO 9001:2015, the plant serves customers in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, and participates in OEM programs in multiple countries. In addition to having a specialized ballistic laboratory, it houses the largest civilian bullet-resistant glass production capacity in the world, reinforcing AGP’s leadership in innovative and reliable solutions for civilian applications.
AGP’s 60-year focus on innovation and technology translates into cutting-edge infrastructure and products, ensuring that our customers receive the best transparent ballistic protection for any vehicle, cabin, vessel, or other special applications.
More than 10% of AGP’s net sales are invested in R&D and in the development of new technologies aligned with industry needs and trends.
Thanks to this significant investment and the unique expertise of multidisciplinary specialists from Europe, the United States, and South America, AGP develops products with innovative materials, superior ballistic integrity, and reduced costs compared to conventional solutions. Additionally, AGP sGlass offers more than high-performance armored glass — including complete kit systems with complex steel structures.
Through continuous collaboration with our experts, customers, academic institutions, and strategic partners, AGP sGlass remains at the forefront of transparent armor solutions.
AGP’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and equipment worldwide enable expanded capabilities for producing the most complex products and solutions.
