The purpose of this procedure is to describe the responsibility of the people, the essential job requirements, job duties, job responsibilities, and skills required to perform a specific role.
a) Support the IT manager and participate in the daily activities.
b) Support and Maintenance of the systems, applications, and basic network problems.
c) Provide IT support for hardware & software applications to employees, by telephone, by e-mail, and on-premise (Ghent and Roeselare).
d) Installation and configuration of hardware and software (printers, desktops, laptops, updates, DECT phones, etc.)
e) Setting up new workstations.
f) Create new users with Active Directory.
g) Investigate technical problems and assist in resolving them.
h) Keep track of the hardware and software registry.
Bachelor’s degree in IT
Analytical, problem-solving thinking ability.
Sense of responsibility and are able to place the right priorities.
Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows server 2016/2019, AD, DHCP and Office applications is required, Office 365, Power BI, SAP is a plus.
Knowledge of Veeam backup, Hyper-V, as well as SQL Server, networking, VPN and endpoint security are great extras, but even more important is the desire to keep on learning and working with new IT tools and products in a rapidly evolving environment.
