Description
We are now looking for a Program Manager in China.
The Role
Program Manager is responsible to lead and integrate all relevant workstreams involved in the launch of a new program in the market. This workstreams are: R&D Product Development, Design, Industrialization, Validation and Testing, Tooling, Logistics and Packaging and finally customers requirements. The Program Manager is the most official interlocutor of the company when it comes to the customer relationship in all technical and development topics alongside the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Comprehensive technical understanding of OEM Requirements and technical specifications to be able to properly share and align this information with technical teams within AGP’s Organization
2. Lead all technical discussions during the quotation process, ensuring all engineering improvements and AGP’s technologies integration opportunities are explored and effectively presented to the customer.
3. Effectively manage and integrate the efforts off the different teams involved in the Program Launch according to AGP’s Methodology focusing on the 8 chapters of Development: Design, Components and Raw Materials, Industrialization, Validation, Packaging, Tooling and customer specific requirements.
4. Prepare and have a comprehensive understanding of the program risks in order to manage them. Program Managers must generate preventive actions at all levels to minimize any potential negative impact.
5. Responsible to escalate any potential issue that might result in delays or a potential gap vs customer expectations (technical or management related)
6. Generate high level reporting according to customer’s specific requirements in an assertive and timely manner.
7. Represent AGP in front of the customer for all program related topics in a day to day bases. Program Managers are responsible to create a strong and long term relationship with our customers focused on close technical cooperation
8. Properly manage all program information across AGP teams ensuring a good communication from customer and among AGP’s internal teams.
9. Ensure the Program progress according to defined targets on AGP’s three main KPI’s: Cost, Timing and Quality for all chapters of development
