The Role
The R&D Senior Engineer will contribute to the development of efficient thermal and optical models for simulations of automotive glazing systems and the interaction with their environment.
Responsibilities
Development and implementation of simulation tools for thermal and optical glazing performance
Support and follow-up of thermal management simulation projects.
Management of multiple, concurrent projects related to the role.
Requirements
Heat transfer including knowledge of at least one thermal analysis software (Energy Plus, TaiTherm, Fluent, Theseus, Star CCM+).
Optical design and ray tracing including knowledge of at least one optical analysis software (Ocean, VRED, OPTIS, SPEOS).
Msc/PhD in Physics or related engineering disciplines
Experience/knowledge on finite element meshing [Hypermesh, ANSA] is desirable /a plus.
Industry and/or research experience in Thermal and Optical Engineering/Sciences.
