Description
The Role
Making decisions and taking actions that get the best yield, best quality, and lowest cost possible, and to protect the line integrity. The goal is a product delivered on time and in spec to the customer requirements, with the greatest profit possible to the company by engaging operators/technicians with the work and improving the operations.
Responsibilities
a) Enforcing strict guidelines for 5S and Health & Safety rules throughout the area
b) Identifying, analyzing and solving any problem relating to safety, process or quality system then reporting to the Manager.
c) Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees and monitoring the achievements
d) Driving in real-time adjustments of staff according to the needs
e) Ensuring achievement of production schedules in accordance with the objectives of quality, and lead time
f) Organizing extra activities by assigning responsibilities for operational team in case of line down
g) Understanding technical process issues for contacting the right technical support when required
h) Ensuring the fixing and/or repairing of equipment after technical support intervention
i) Checking and report production KPIs
j) Submitting reports on performance and progress of the employees
k) Identifying and report issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
l) Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
m) Resolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, recommending actions
n) Taking quality decisions with quality team
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Master Degree Desired.
At least 5 years of experience as Production or Operations Leader, Coordinator or Chief.
Advanced English language skills (spoken and written).
MS Office advance knowledge.
Organization, leadership, self-motivation and results-driven abilities
Problem-solving and good communication skills.
