Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, we wish to strengthen the team in Evergem with a Production Planner
The Role
As a production planner at AGP in Evergem you are responsible for setting up the production planning based on customer demand and predefined KPIs. For this you have daily contact with your colleagues in purchasing and logistics.
Responsibilities
• You manage the production planning activity based on the customer requests, the KPI's and the possibilities and/or limitations within supply chain.
• You optimize production based on warehouse and work resources as well as production KPIs.
• You oversee a careful management of the production planning, with the aim of providing an excellent service to internal & external users. You take into account purchasing, KPI's, distribution and (international) shipments.
• You work together with the Supply Chain Senior Manager and maintain contacts with production, finance and sales.
• You participate in the implementation of improvement proposals by the Supply Chain Management Team.
• You ensure the preparation, and if necessary adjustment, of the weekly production plan, based on production capacity, availability of materials (management & optimization of stock levels) and customer orders (sales).
• Lead the daily, weekly & monthly meetings with the production team to ensure a smooth and transparent communication.
• Managing the production planning, under the leadership of the Planning Lead.
• Following up on any quality issues and adjusting the production planning if necessary in order to provide optimal service and quality.
• Coordinating regularly with the Supply Chain Manager and Plant Manager when new elements need to be introduced into production.
• Reporting of production KPI's : output, performance and production changes.
Requirements
You have a similar experience as a production planner in an industrial environment. Experience in the automotive industry is a strong asset.
A higher degree in technical direction is a plus but not a requirement.
You have an excellent knowledge of English; a good knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
You have a thorough knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
You are stress resistant, work in a structured way and you can easily communicate with your interlocutors at different levels
