Description
We are looking for a R&D Project Leader who will help our photovoltaic production line to be established in China.
The Role
This position's main purpose is to lead the industrialization of Active Glass technologies industrialization in our manufacturing plants in China, support commercial meetings with OEMs and support R&D technology scouting activities in China.
Responsibilities
Industrialization:
-Manufacturing line design
-Equipment sourcing and installation
-Process development and production ramp-up
-Quality assurance
-Technologies: photovoltaics, lighting, switchable glazing, among others.
Commercial:
-Support commercial managers/directors and technology leads in China for new RFQs and introduction meetings
-Support commercial managers/directors with technical presentations in China.
Technology scouting:
-Technology and supplier exploration of Active Glass technologies
-Technical and commercial meetings with Chinese suppliers
Requirements
Bachelor´s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar
Preferably with a Master’s in Engineering
Excellent English and Mandarin proficiency
Ideally with experience in solar module manufacturing
