The AGP Group is a world-leading and specialized glass manufacturer.  Our company guarantees world-class technology and the highest level of innovation in glazing solutions.  More than 20 renowned automobile manufacturers rely daily on the know-how of our 6 high-tech production plants and innovation centers, which now employ a total of over 3,000 people.  Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, we wish to strengthen the team in Los Angeles, California with a Jr. Sales Account Manager

The Role

In this role, The Sales Account Manager is responsible for the profitable growth and serial management of a key account and will report directly to the VP of Commercial Business.

Responsibilities

Evaluating respective sales market/ region and develop account and growth plans.
Developing and driving relationships with the Customer and AGP’s cross functional team.
Evaluating and driving key acquisitions with the customer.
Driving battle planning and ensuring key deliverables via customer presentations, calculations and quote summaries with the Account Lead and NMI/ Engineering.
Ensuring margin and profitability during the sales lifetime.
Managing the commercial element of Change management and ensure recovery of inflation and additional efforts.
Managing contract analysis, response and customer system-based communication and updates.
Supporting and inputting to the internal sales data base and planning process.
Preparing information to be sent to customers (cost breakdowns, presentations, queries responses, etc.)
Preparing internal project kick-offs (Elysium information upload, project structuring).
Gathering and preparing analysis on global commercial data from the company to be presented to executive team and board.

Experience
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree
Min. 1 year working as an Account Manager at a Tier 1/OEM Automotive company.
Automotive Glass experience is a strong plus but not required
A highly developed ability to see the big picture and set the correct priorities in a highly demanding environment that is often ambiguous and changing.
Microsoft Office
Fluent English
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation skills

Requirements
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
